Our Team
Chris established Crest Performance in 2016 with a view to sharing his knowledge, expertise and passion in the areas of local government, strategy, accountability, business excellence/improvement, leadership and culture.
Chris has over 42 years’ experience working in Local Government in seven Councils in both New South Wales and Queensland during his career.
His last position was as Chief Executive Officer of Logan City Council, the 5th largest Council by population (310,000), and the 3rd largest by budget ($839M 2015/16) in Australia, and one of the fastest growing Local Government areas in the nation. During his period as CEO of Logan the Council increased very significantly in size and diversity as a direct consequence of the Queensland Boundary Reform process in 2008. Chris led his Council through this period with great success and consequently gained further expertise in transition planning and delivery and change management.
In 2016 Chris commenced a consulting career and has already worked on assignments with over 25 Councils in Queensland, NSW and the Northern Territory. He has also worked with the Fitzroy Basin Association and the Central Highland Development Corporation, as well as numerous small-medium sized private businesses.
Chris is passionate about the importance of efficient and effective local government. He is a strong advocate of leadership and culture, quality performance management, accountability systems at all levels, ongoing business improvement and strategic frameworks that drive decision making and performance.
Chris has extensive practical experience in these areas during his career to date both as a practitioner and as a consultant.
He has facilitated many Forums and Workshops at both political and professional levels. This has included ELT Development Days, Leadership and Culture Forums and Strategic Planning Workshops.
He has also spoken at many Conferences and seminars during his career with very positive feedback from both organisers and attendees.
Aprille has significant local government experience during her career, as well as advanced secretarial and administration skills.
She has also worked in customer service and in retail, as well as running her own business.
We are very well connected and through our significant networks can source any necessary specialist and/or other additional resources needed to ensure we deliver to our clients at the highest possible level.

We set our fees in consultation with our clients.
We are happy to work on a fixed quotation basis, or a do and charge rate, depending upon our clients’ preferences.
